Single Point Dressing Tool

Single point dressing tools are used for dressing applications to conform with the industry standard.  Gold Technic is a manufacturer of high precision diamond tools who strives towards ISO standard requirements.  We adopted a quality control unit to assure top quality tools which have each been inspected through microscope for achieving correct profile and chip free.

There a number of shank designs which are available in both resettable and non-resettable formats for instance straight shank, hand dresser, plain headed shank, hexagon headed shank, taper shank, threaded shank, chisel shank, magazine dresser, turnable head dresser, recess for point location, location flat, totally threaded, internal thread, double ended, extraction hole, cranked head, screw driver slot, coolant slots and several other more.

Mounting the dressing tool

The correct way to mount the dressing tool is to put it at minimum overhang to avoid vibration and never mount in an oversized hole.

Coolant

Dress dry when the grinding gets dry and dress with ample amount of coolant during the grinding cycle.  Be careful not to turn the coolant on if the dressing cycle started to dry as the thermal shock may fracture the diamond.
