Gold Technic is the preferred  supplier of the Mitsubishi Diaguide ® Optical Fibers. The ST600F has silica fibers that feature a high-purity core rating. It features high light transmission efficiency. It is suitable for a wide range of applications such as cutting and engraving as well as plating. The Mitsubishi Diaguide® optical fibers are available in many different sizes:

  • ST200E – 200 Micron fiber core (200um)
  • ST300E – 300 Micron fiber core (300um)
  • ST400E – 400 Micron fiber core (400um)
  • ST600F – 600 Micron fiber core (600um)
  • ST800G – 800 Micron fiber core (800um)
  • ST1000H – 1000 Micron fiber core (1000um)

Common lengths of the optical fibers which we supply are 3 meters (3m), 5 meters (5m), 10 meters (10m) and 15 meters (15m). Custom lengths are possible which go up to 50+meters.

Why the different lengths? Different applications for different customers – Some customers require the laser welding site to be clean and clutter free. They will opt for a long laser fiber assembly (typically >50m) so the laser machines can be situated in another room. If space is not a concern, the laser machines can be situated right beside the welding head. In this case, a short 3 meters (3m) laser fiber assembly is sufficient.

Single Point Dressing Tool

Single point dressing tools are used for dressing applications to conform with the industry standard.  Gold Technic is a manufacturer of high precision diamond tools who strives towards ISO standard requirements.  We adopted a quality control unit to assure top quality tools which have each been inspected through microscope for achieving correct profile and chip free.

 

We manufacture single point dressers at our facility based in Singapore.  Each of the <ahref=“goldtechnic.com/products/diamond-dressers/”>single point diamond dresser</a> shanks are tailored to meet your specifications.

 

There a number of shank designs which are available in both resettable and non-resettable formats for instance straight shank, hand dresser, plain headed shank, hexagon headed shank, taper shank, threaded shank, chisel shank, magazine dresser, turnable head dresser, recess for point location, location flat, totally threaded, internal thread, double ended, extraction hole, cranked head, screw driver slot, coolant slots and several other more.

 

Mounting the dressing tool

The correct way to mount the dressing tool is to put it at minimum overhang to avoid vibration and never mount in an oversized hole.

 

Coolant

Dress dry when the grinding gets dry and dress with ample amount of coolant during the grinding cycle.  Be careful not to turn the coolant on if the dressing cycle started to dry as the thermal shock may fracture the diamond.

Single point dressers are pencil-like tools that can be modified according a specific demand but this type of tool is basically used for straight and simple form dressing application. Another type are the forming dressers. This tool is specifically made to attain certain accuracy in terms of angles and radii which is taken into consideration in contour dressing system, CNC operations and the likes. The quality of a diamond fluctuates from the finest pure crystal to the most low-graded crystals.  Cracks, impurities, and flaws can be considered as factors that can degrade the quality of a diamond.  The most well-known diamond dressers are Single Point Dressers and Profile Dressers that are utilized for huge grinding wheels, blade-shaped dressers and hand dressers.

 

Single point dressing tool applied for dressing straight grinding wheels as well as operating simple profiles, thread and gear grinding.  On the other hand, profile dressers applied for straight and profile dressing.  Other common dressers available in the market are multi-point/impregnated dressers, chisel and cone profile tools, and PCD form dressers which applied to meet customized requirements.

 

<a href=“goldtechnic.com/products/diamond-dressers/”>The single point dressers</a> are available in resettable and non-resettable formats.  The diameter size of ¼” or 6.3mm to ¾” or 19mm, up to 6” or 150mm long.  The resettable dressers are great for use on very hard wheel, SG wheels,  profile grinders, and thread or gear grinders.  They are also best to dress small internal grinding wheels.  While the non-resettable dressers are perfect for toolroom grinders, burr grinding wheels, centerless regulating wheels, as well as other general purpose work.

 

The recommended dressing tool types also differ based on the diamond grades.  The recommendations are as the followings:

 

  1. 4 resettable points

“A” quality dresser is recommended for hard wheels or when very fine finishes and close tolerances are required, such as thread, bearing and gear grinding.

 

  1. 3 resettable points

“B” quality dresser is reccommended for demanding requirements and close tolerance work.

 

  1. 2 resettable points

“BC” quality dresser is recommended for average grinding conditions.

 

  1. 1 resettable point

“C” quality dresser is reccommended for general purpose works, yet still resettable.

 

  1. Non-resettable

“NR” dresser is good for other general purpose work which required non-resettable dressing tools.

Single Crystal Diamond Tools (SCDT)

We produce both Regular SCDT and Precision SCDT using Single Crystal Diamonds (SCD), which are available in either natural or synthetic forms. Synthetic SCD have the same physical and chemical properties as natural diamonds. Selection of SCD based on our customers’ requirements and it is soldered onto a tool shank to form a SCDT (Only 1 whole Diamond crystal per tool).
